8 days a week -5

I'm down to 3 days a week. I threw in a 4 day week last week, but with 2 weeks to go I remember a very important piece of advice: get to the starting line healthy. Last year I had a bad hip for about a month before the marathon and I stuck to the schedule religiously and I believe I paid for it the day of the race. I also did not eat much food the day before. I think it is more important to have calories and carbs going into the race than to worry about having to make a stop during the race. I will also use gatorade and gummy chomps that seem to have worked on all my longer runs the past 2 months.

No running today, but I'll go 5 or 6 tomorrow and 7 or 8 on Sunday.

We're getting there.

BTW it is storming here right now. Bad weather has been rare this fall. Here we are w/ what looks to be two days in a row.
