Yes...

OK...shoot for the stars and end up on top of the barn.

70º, no hills, no wind, no sun in your eyes, no cars. All I needed was to have someone run it for me and it would have been perfect.
Good run. Much better than I'd anticipated. My Plantar Fasciitis (left heel) has been bothering me since I started back to work. I need to try something different for work or get some insoles.
I went about 6:15pm and went out on the ke-Wash trail. Since it was supposed to be more than 8 miles I decided to start running from home and from there to the trail and back might be about 3/4 mile.
Without any GPS I decided to start at the first mile marker and if my pace was around 9:30 I would run 2:22 and then do the pick up until the next mile marker. I got to a point where I knew I was right around the 9:00 pace as I hit the last 2 miles. I was definitely U9 during the pickups.
When I finished, I check it out on Favorite Run and it turned out to be 8.70. I plugged it in and it turned out to be the following stats:

8.70 miles
1:18:14
8:59.54/mile

Every 1/2 second really does count in the end.

Craig just said, "yesssssssssssss."

  1. My left heel is killing me today. I'm paying for it. Taking today off of running and maybe Friday, too.
