Wind in face going out...and coming back...obviously faster.
Very tired, I thought I was doing OK when I noticed my first 1/2 mile at 4:48...OK, so that's very close to 10/mile...1st mile was 9:48...so I reached the 1/2 way point at pretty much 30:00. On the way back it was silent due to the wind at my back and it pushed me from a 10/mile pace to a 9/mile pace...
Final stats
6 miles
57:09
9:31/mile
Slow and steady wins the race...but not always...just sometimes when the faster paced person or rabbit decides to take a nap or a break during the race so the slow and steady person or turtle can pass them without waking them up...I'm outta here...it's really really freakin' late.
Good pace on your 7 miler, Mike...everytime I think I've had a good run I just look at your pace and shake my head and say...I wanna be like Mike...unless I'm looking at Mark's pace and then I say "I wanna be like Mark or Mike...whoever's faster and if someone's faster than they are I guess I wanna be like them, too."
It's really really late...
