Wed becomes Thurs...It's a Bowie day...

This work crap is for the birds.    8 to 8 days for marching band and  a 7am start to open up a new wal-mart this week.   So Wed...I had to say "can't do it when you start your day leaving at 6:20am and get home at 9pm.    Woke up this morning, splashed some water on my face...

60º weather with increasing temps and humidity as I went  to end up at 70º and humidity I could feel...still, I really didn't feel it like I did last week when it was in the upper 70s/lower 80s and 90% humidity.   

So I wasn't sure exactly what the specs were for Wed run I did this morning, but I knew it was 7.75 w/ pick ups.  I knew I didn't have time to do it and couldn't measure it, so I cut it to 7 and did 800 and 800 pick ups.  Goals:   9:30 pace w/ 8-8:30 pickups.  I knew that would be 4:45 each 800 and then 4:00-4:15 on the pickup 800s.  

My 800s were between 9:00 & 9:40,  my pick-ups were between 7:20 (last one)& most of them were around 8:00-8:40.   Felt incredibly good compared to what  I felt like yesterday and last night.
