Running with Darren II: The Runner Strikes Back

Started a few minutes after 7am with a 60º temp and a little humidity, but not bad at all.   Dew on the grass and we could start to feel it with the rising temp as we moved toward 8am.   9:30 pace to start out with a 5 mile run today.   Only requirement was to do the 2nd half faster than the 1st half.  Finished the first half in 24:04, so we actually lost some off the first mile...excuse me for a second, I have to let the dog out...ok, thanks for waiting.  I forgot to let her out earlier.   So, back to the run...   we make the turn around and start to pick it up and we get to the 3 mile mark in 28:24...9:28/mile and we are at 37:33 for 4 miles  9:23 and ran an 8:51 on our last mile...
Final Stats:
5 miles
46:24
9:16/mile

Tomorrow I run a 5K in Sigourney.   Would like to break 23:30.   Weather looks good for it.
Craig reporting w/ Darren Baetsle on the Harper Rd, good day.
