Wet Sand Legs Evens the Playing Field

7am this morning and 70º, low humidity after a hot day yesterday.   Storms ready to roll in and so we battle a slight headwind coming back on the 6 mile trek.
I can't remember running a more even pace than we did this morning and I can't remember seeing more traffic than we saw this morning.  It was absolutely crazy with traffic for a small town county road out in the country.   Most of our miles were right at or around 9:30/mile.    The last mile we decided to kick it in and final stats:
6.01 miles
55:52
9:17/mile pace

So Mike's legs feel like wet sand and he's running a 9:15 pace.  We're basically doing an easy run, but feeling good at 9:17...I'm going to Menards to get some sand for Mike's trip to IA.

Craig Bo Knows Running and he's flippin stretching & feelin' all right.
